A BLOODY PROMOTION!
“They could have led to an assassination. And if you have an assassination, you nullify democracy. That’s how important the Secret Service is.”
The above quote comes from an article by author & reporter Ronald Kessler (CBS News) with respects to a number of not-so Secret Service agents’ inappropriate behavior in Colombia this past week. Although I couldn’t agree more that such conduct is not only unbecoming, but dangerous for anyone’s security detail, especially that of the Office of the Presidency, I take great issue with Mr. Kessler’s overall assessment.
First off the Office of the Presidency is fulfilled by mere men; and if our recent history over the past 40 years or so is any measure, not very good men. This brings to light the distinction that few draw; including Mr. Kessler. The loss of one man to a body politic, such as the United States, is of no consequence. Terrible, yes; disastrous, no! Even if that man be a President such a loss is inconsequential to the permanence of the nation. Obviously history bears this out as other assassinations (i.e. Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy) brought about no such ‘nullification’ of democracy.
It would behoove all Americans too realize that in the United States we don’t have kings; we have servants. And just like in our military where so many more honorable and virtuous citizens have served, the loss of a commander is merely an inconvenience; not a surrender of the entire unit. Stop looking up to these men. Be they Secret Service agents or Presidents, in the end they are just that; men!
Perhaps you like Mr. Kessler, see kings where there are supposed to be but mere servants; and your life, like that of so many others these days, hinges on one man. As opposed to our former body-politic, the United States of America, where the loss of even a President simply boils down to A BLOODY PROMOTION!

Politics vs Politics
The original definition of politics was the science or study of government; essentially the catalyst for or birth of a nation (body-politic).
Today’s definition of politics though has morphed, quite appropriately I might add, into the confederating or scheming of a few men to gain the control of a nation. Or power of its people as it were. Submission to such skullduggery literally amounts to relegating a person’s sum total of control over their lives coming down to voting once every few years. Where no matter what party wins the schemers get the cake and you get what’s left behind.
I can’t for the life of me comprehend how anyone could lack so much self-esteem as to limit their entire view of life as though from the anus of another!

ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL!
An American truism to be sure; one we’ve heard time and again. But unfortunately a fundamental cornerstone to a free society, the significance of which most Americans fail to grasp.
The operative word here is ‘created,’ because though all men are created equal somewhere subsequent to being created (born & raised) most surrender their equity; usually to those in government. Some may take issue with the word ‘surrender’ decrying that choice is not theirs, that it’s the law. But in a society that recognizes that all men are inherently equal what law could be lawful which would upset the balance of power between those men in government and the very men they supposedly serve? After all people, liberty is power. The finite dynamic of which is that every liberty you forfeit is that much less power you have and that much more power you’ve granted the government; an inequitable position from which the bleeding is not easily stemmed. Hence men can only claim freedom, and their equity for that matter, as long as they withhold and protect their liberties. But alas, so many of you willfully capitulate.
In the end it really doesn’t matter whether the excuse is from ignorance of the law, perhaps apathy or maybe even fear of reprisal, once you yield to those in government you have upset the balance of equity; essentially surrendering your right to live as you see fit to those who claim to be better suited to decide it for you.
This of course flies in the face of all sensibilities, not to mention equity. A random microcosm of a society (i.e. government) can be expected to exhibit greater intelligence and integrity than the very society that spawned them? Can you not see the consequences of such irrational?
Today…
• We citizens are held to the letter of the ever-expanding law but yet when those in government violate the law (and our trust) they escape for the most part, unscathed! I.E. Watergate, Iran-Contra, Sandy Berger, Scooter Libby, Fast & Furious, etc!
• When we citizens make unsound financial decisions we pay the price, but yet when those in government makes unsound, if not wholly unlawful financial decisions, we and our children pay the price! I.E. Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, spurious Bailouts, embezzled social programs such as Social Security & Medicare!
• If anyone of us where to perpetrate a belligerent act on another we would be in jail, if not executed; but our government perpetrates any number of violent, if not horrific acts, on others without so much as probable cause or consequence! I.E. Extreme Rendition (Kidnapping), Intense Interrogation (Torture), Pre-Emptive Strikes (Summary Executions), War on Terror (Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and soon to come, US), Drone Diplomacy, etc…!
• And needless to say if we citizens standup and renounce such clearly unlawful usurpations as warrantless searches & seizures, arbitrary removal of civil rights, denial of due process, removal of habeas corpus and other such assaults on us and our liberties, then we are the ones painted as criminal; not those in government!
It is our former government’s ever-escalating descent into debt and criminality, of which could never have occurred if men were to have withheld from those in government what invariably corrupts them; inequitable, hence absolute power! Making for what we have today which is a compliant and servile populace living under a belligerent and oppressive government; one that knows no bounds!
The key to a free society is men keeping their own powers in their own hands. It will never be a perfect world as man is an imperfect being but once the individual relinquishes their God given liberties, tilts the scale of justice as it were, then they have opened the floodgates of greed and despotism that is assured to follow. The proof of which lies in the annals of history replete with societies who have willfully surrendered their equity only to suffer under the very tyrants they themselves have created and the subsequent civil wars waged to dethrone them.
All because men fail to grasp that in a world where power corrupts and greed abounds,
ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL!

SELF FULFILLING PROPHECIES
It would appear that the majority of Americans live in a constant state of utter fear of either being victimized by criminals or getting sick and dying; always looking to their government and insurance companies to save them. Only to be victimized by their insurance companies and government and then getting sick and dying!
Talk about your SELF FULFILLING PROPHECIES!

LAWS of the HEAVENS and EARTH!
God created the Heavens, the Earth and the Laws that govern them; then Man.
Man then created his own laws to which many now think govern the Heavens and Earth.
Of course they only believe so because their delusion is propped up by the abject idiocy of a people who blindly place their faith and their very lives in the fabricated ever-degenerating laws of man instead of the absolute finite LAWS of the HEAVENS and EARTH!

PROPERTY TO RESPECT
Those who think individually by and large have respect for others’ property.
Those who think collectively generally don’t have any property to respect.
